We help people find and compare event businesses. Final booking decisions, quotes, contracts, deposits, and service delivery are between the visitor and the advertiser unless EventBookr clearly states otherwise.

Before you enquire

Read the full listing, not only the first photo. Check the description, location, category, gallery, and contact details.
Compare the business name with its website, social pages, reviews, and public presence.
For venue bookings, confirm the physical address, state, capacity, included facilities, and access rules before paying a deposit.

Communication safety

Keep early conversations clear and written where possible so the quote, date, inclusions, and cancellation terms are easy to reference.
Be cautious of urgent pressure, vague answers, or a provider who refuses to share basic business information.
Do not share unnecessary personal information such as identity numbers, home addresses, banking passwords, or one-time codes.

Payment and deposit safety

Use EventBookr checkout for paid listings and subscriptions where it is available.
Be careful if someone pressures you to pay by wire transfer, cryptocurrency, Zelle, Cash App, gift cards, or another off-platform method.
If you pay a provider directly, ask for a written quote, invoice, cancellation terms, and proof of business identity before sending a deposit.

Meeting and site visit safety
