For listed businesses

Advertiser terms

These advertiser terms supplement the website and member terms whenever you create, claim, pay for or manage an EventBookr business listing.

1. Authority and listing accuracy

You confirm that you are authorised to represent the listed business and that names, claims, categories, locations, prices, licences, contact details, images and availability are accurate and lawful. You must keep the listing current and must not impersonate, duplicate or misrepresent another business.

2. Images, logos and other content

You must own or have permission to publish uploaded content, including permission from identifiable people where required. EventBookr may resize, compress, crop or reformat media for safe and consistent delivery. Replaced or removed media may remain in protected backups until the normal backup cycle expires.

3. Review, publication and ranking

Payment does not guarantee publication, approval, enquiries, bookings or a particular search position. Listings must pass required-data, payment and moderation checks. EventBookr may correct formatting, request evidence, withhold publication, suspend access or remove content that is misleading, unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with the service. Paid features are labelled and directory relevance remains subject to search and quality rules.

4. Plans, recurring billing and promotions

The checkout identifies the plan, currency, billing interval, provider and any coupon or promotion before you subscribe. Monthly or annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. PayFast handles South African plans and Stripe handles United States plans. Provider confirmation—not the browser return page—controls activation.

Failed renewals may enter a stated grace period before public access pauses. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while preserving paid access until the displayed period end. Upgrades, downgrades, payment-method changes, refunds and disputes follow the options and timing shown in the billing workspace and the payment provider’s rules. Promotion eligibility and duration are enforced by EventBookr and saved with the order.

“Standard” is EventBookr's complete V2 listing; Premium adds the visibility and capacity benefits shown before checkout. Packages, pricelists and advertiser-created special offers are supplied by the advertiser and remain subject to the published plan limits. Neither plan guarantees enquiries, bookings, revenue, social-media promotion, Google ranking or a fixed EventBookr search position.

A provider-verifiable V1 recurring subscription may retain its exact valid price while it renews without interruption. Cancelling that subscription or voluntarily moving to another plan ends the protected legacy price; a later checkout uses the current price shown at that time. EventBookr does not infer a paid subscription from incomplete legacy records.

5. Advertiser packages and special offers

Public package prices and special offers must be accurate, current and complete enough not to mislead customers. You are responsible for eligibility, availability, expiry dates, exclusions, taxes and final fulfilment. Customers must confirm the final quote and terms directly with you. EventBookr may expire, hide or remove inaccurate, unlawful or misleading offers and does not become a party to the resulting customer agreement.

6. Customers and fulfilment

You are responsible for enquiries, quotes, customer agreements, deposits, cancellations, delivery, licences, insurance, taxes and disputes relating to your services. Do not misuse contact details or send marketing without the recipient’s lawful permission. EventBookr may retain communication evidence for support, safety and disputes.

7. Cancellation, suspension and deletion

Pausing a listing is different from cancelling its subscription. An account-deletion request does not automatically cancel an external recurring payment; active subscriptions and unresolved financial or safety matters must be addressed first. Required transaction, audit and dispute records may be retained after public content is removed.

8. Related terms and support

The website and member terms, privacy policy and cookie policy also apply. Billing, moderation or ownership questions can be submitted through EventBookr support.
