A really lovely guest farm. I did not stay here but did a day hike and then spent the day next to the dam. A tough but very beautiful hike. I would do it again

Welcoming owners, excellent facilities, well laid out campgrounds, awesome climb. Would like to camp here again and it's also close enough to Durban for an early roadtrip and quick run up the mountain. Quite Hibbit-ish.

This was a lovely place with great views which is also cut off from all the hustle and noise from towns which is excellent to give you a chance to cut off and reconnect with nature. The resort is accessible via dirt roads which means that you either need a 4x4 / suv / bakkie or you need to know how to drive through dirt roads or you can get stuck if there's a lot of rain.

This was an amazing place to stay. In the mountains. Ian and Sally were wonderful they assisted us all the time and was so helpful. They have lots to do on the farm with beautiful hiking, garden games, an animal farm for the kids, paddle boat a restaurant and pub. The accommodation is great. Helen and Cornelius gives horse rides at an additional cost but are just as amazing. I would recommend this place over and over again.

It offers the perfect getaway for those looking for a tranquil atmosphere in a wondrous setting. Charming rustic feel – warm, inviting, feels cosy & comfortable. Neat, clean and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. A great location with both peaceful and intriguing walks, as well as a natural forest and fantastic bird life. The Bull & Speir restaurant has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with good service and delicious food! I loved the idea of the honesty box for drinks and items in their little shop. The hosts are so lovely - approachable, helpful and kind. Excellent value for money
